PhD::SPACE has been awarded 20 PhD Fellowships to be awarded in four calls. Each call will aim to select 5 recipients of the PhD fellowships, corresponding to excellent highly motivated candidates wishing to develop their research program in the active and international environment provided by the two host institutes. Most of the fellowships are mixed, implying a period of work abroad in some of the most relevant research institutes and/or organizations in Astronomy. This collaboration can take place through internships or as co-supervisons with external senior experts.
The program also has resources for organizing meetings and exchange of staff to participate in the curricular components of both PhD programs at the two participating Universities. All students will be integrated in ongoing research activities and teams at the host institutes, which can provide additional resources for participating in scientific meetings, short-term working visits and other exchange/training programs.
